The Competition

Points are calculated using a variation of the French Formula. The variation includes a percentage factor to compensate / encourage those entering the longer distance rides.

The formula used is as follows:

       30k to 39k ((Speed x 2) - Minimum speed) x 100 / Final HR) 

       40k to 59k ((Speed x 2) - Minimum speed) x 100 / Final HR) +10%
       60k and above ((Speed x 2) - Minimum speed) x 100 / Final HR) + 20%
